Trout in the Classroom

Trout Unlimited’s program “Trout in the Classroom” is an opportunity for students to learn about the life cycle of Utah’s native fish and how humans can impact watersheds and aquatic habitat. Classes are given supplies to raise salmonids in their classroom and release them into a nearby body of water. The Provo River Watershed Council has helped fund this program’s expansion into schools in Utah county.
