A collaborative webinar series, organized by the Division of Water Quality, Provo River Watershed Council, Utah County Stormwater Coalition, and USU Extension, educated Utah County businesses on stormwater management. Funded by DWQ’s nonpoint source (NPS) grants and PRWC contributions, the three-part series covered pollution impacts, permitting requirements, and best practices. Averaging 50 attendees, the series included raffles and city incentives, like a stormwater fee waiver from Orem, to increase participation. The series focused on empowering businesses to protect local water quality by providing essential knowledge and practical tools. Topics included pollution, permitting, and management techniques, with insights from local municipalities and case studies. The goal was to foster responsible stormwater practices and contribute to a healthier environment for Utah County. The webinar series can be viewed on USU Extension’s STORMnet site.
